Inspiration behind terre d'Oc
terred'Oc was set up in 1995 by us Valerie Roubaud and Patrick Lions, we had a deep desire to introduce our range of natural, organic and fair-traded products to the public incorporating the exquisite colour pallets of our home region, Provence in the South of France.
We believed in colour as the universal language and had produced popular art collections created with the same artistic drive. From this success, we used our passion and creativity to design a beautiful range of organic mineral make-up. The "Maquillage du Monde," or natural make-up of the world range was created from the desire to merge the two universes of Earth in the most organic way possible. The bringing together of ochre and plant pigments was the passion behind our terred'Oc beautiful natural mineral make-up range. This resulted in a natural make-up range which incorporated beauty rituals and secrets from countries across the globe.
Our company terred'Oc, has, since its' beginnings, travelled to the countries that brought us the inspiration and raw materials for our caring natural and organic cosmetics. This is an essential way for us to stay true to our company values and beliefs. The beauty secrets and raw materials from Morocco, India, Africa, Bali and Japan provided our inspiration and influence for terred'Oc natural and organic mineral make-up. Our dedicated research has meant an authentic range of natural mineral make-up of the world which is also fair trade and contributes to equal farming opportunities.
We use the phrase "beauty shared" to describe our natural and organic cosmetics and inspirational beauty secrets.
